I'm so excited to be taking part in Vivian Kirkfield's 50 Precious Words contest this year! If you are interested in more information about the contest or want to enter yourself, check out Vivian's website.
For this contest, stories must be for kids, have 50 words or fewer, and have a beginning, middle, and end. I am a sparse writer. Most of my manuscripts fall in the 200-word range, so I was really excited to join in! It proved to be a challenge to write an entire story in just 50 words, but it was a wonderful exercise in brevity and word choice!
